Amour 42 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBCBCDADAEE

Plac'd in the forlorne hope of all dispayreA
Against the Forte where Beauties Army liesB
Assayld with death yet armed with gastly feareA
Loe thus my loue my lyfe my fortune tryesB
Wounded with Arrowes from thy lightning eyesB
My tongue in payne my harts counsels bewrayingC
My rebell thought for me in Ambushe lyesB
To my lyues foe her Chieftaine still betrayingC
Record my loue in Ocean waues vnkindD
Cast my desarts into the open ayreA
Commit my words vnto the fleeting windD
Cancell my name and blot it with dispayreA
So shall I bee as I had neuer beeneE
Nor my disgraces to the world be seeneE
