Amour 24 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAAACACDADAAA

Our floods Queene Thames for shyps and Swans is crownedA
And stately Seuerne for her shores is praisedB
The christall Trent for Foords and fishe renownedA
And Auons fame to Albyons Cliues is raysedA
Carlegion Chester vaunts her holy DeeA
Yorke many wonders of her Ouse can tellC
The Peake her Doue whose bancks so fertill beeA
And Kent will say her Medway doth excellC
Cotswoold commends her Isis and her TameD
Our Northern borders boast of Tweeds faire floodA
Our Westerne parts extoll theyr Wilys fameD
And old Legea brags of Danish bloodA
Ardens sweet Ankor let thy glory beA
That fayre Idea shee doth liue by theeA
