Zero Circle Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGHI FBJKEHEH

Be helpless dumbfoundedA
Unable to say yes or noB
Then a stretcher will come from graceC
To gather us upD
-
We are too dull eyed to see that beautyE
If we say we can we re lyingF
If we say No we don t see itG
That No will behead usH
And shut tight our window onto spiritI
-
So let us rather not be sure of anythingF
Besides ourselves and only that soB
Miraculous beings come running to helpJ
Crazed lying in a zero circle muteK
We shall be saying finallyE
With tremendous eloquence Lead usH
When we have totally surrendered to that beautyE
We shall be a mighty kindnessH
