Ode 2357 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACADEAFGHIJKILMN

Granite and WineglassA
You are graniteB
I am an empty wineglassA
You know what happens when we touchC
You laugh like the sun coming up laughsA
at a star that disappears into itD
Love opens my chest and thoughtE
returns to its confinesA
Patient and rational considerations leaveF
Only passion stays whimpering and feverishG
Some men fall down in the road like dregs thrown outH
Then totally reckless the next morningI
they gallop out with new purposes LoveJ
is the reality and poetry is the drumK
that calls us to that Don't keep complainingI
about loneliness Let the fear language of that themeL
crack open and float away Let the priest come downM
from his tower and not go back upN
