I Am Part Of The Load Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FGHIJKL MN OPQRSTU

I am part of the loadA
Not rightly balancedB
I drop off in the grassC
like the old Cave sleepers to browseD
wherever I fallE
-
For hundreds of thousands of years I have been dust grainsF
floating and flying in the will of the airG
often forgetting ever beingH
in that state but in sleepI
I migrate back I spring looseJ
from the four branched time and space crossK
this waiting roomL
-
I walk into a huge pastureM
I nurse the milk of millenniaN
-
Everyone does this in different waysO
Knowing that conscious decisionsP
and personal memoryQ
are much too small a place to liveR
every human being streams at nightS
into the loving nowhere or during the dayT
in some absorbing workU
