Youth's Agitations Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DEDE FGFG HH

When I shall be divorced some ten years henceA
From this poor present self which I am nowB
When youth has done its tedious vain expenseA
Of passions that for ever ebb and flowC
-
Shall I not joy youth's heats are left behindD
And breathe more happy in an even climeE
Ah no for then I shall begin to findD
A thousand virtues in this hated timeE
-
Then I shall wish its agitations backF
And all its thwarting currents of desireG
Then I shall praise the heat which then I lackF
And call this hurrying fever generous fireG
-
And sigh that one thing only has been lentH
To youth and age in common discontentH
