To A Republican Friend, 1848 - Continued Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAADEAFFGGFF

Yet when I muse on what life is I seemA
Rather to patience prompted than that prowlB
Prospect of hope which France proclaims so loudC
France fam'd in all great arts in none supremeA
Seeing this Vale this Earth whereon we dreamA
Is on all sides o'ershadow'd by the highD
Uno'erleap'd Mountains of NecessityE
Sparing us narrower margin than we deemA
Nor will that day dawn at a human nodF
When bursting through the network superpos'dF
By selfish occupation plot and planG
Lust avarice envy liberated manG
All difference with his fellow man compos'dF
Shall be left standing face to face with GodF
