Shakespeare Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA ACCA DED EFF

Others abide our question Thou art freeA
We ask and ask thou smilest and art stillB
Out topping knowledge For the loftiest hillB
Who to the stars uncrowns his majestyA
-
Planting his stedfast footsteps in the seaA
Making the heaven of heavens his dwelling placeC
Spares but the cloudy border of his baseC
To the foiled searching of mortalityA
-
And thou who didst the stars and sunbeams knowD
Self schooled self scanned self honored self secureE
Didst tread on earth unguessed at better soD
-
All pains the immortal spirit must endureE
All weakness which impairs all griefs which bowF
Find their sole speech in that victorious browF
