The Deserted House Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDB AEFEFE

There's no smoke in the chimneyA
And the rain beats on the floorB
There's no glass in the windowC
There's no wood in the doorB
The heather grows behind the houseD
And the sand lies beforeB
-
No hand hath trained the ivyA
The walls are grey and bareE
The boats upon the sea sail byF
Nor ever tarry thereE
No beast of the field comes nighF
Nor any bird of the airE
