Sonnet Xxx: O'er The Tall Cliff Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDEDCD

O'er the tall cliff that bounds the billowy mainA
Shad'wing the surge that sweeps the lonely strandB
While the thin vapours break along the sandB
Day's harbinger unfolds the liquid plainA
The rude Sea murmurs mournful as the strainA
That love lorn minstrels strike with trembling handB
While from their green beds rise the Syren bandB
With tongues aerial to repeat my painA
The vessel rocks beside the pebbly shoreC
The foamy curls its gaudy trappings laveD
Oh Bark propitious bear me gently o'erE
Breathe soft ye winds rise slow O swelling waveD
Lesbos these eyes shall meet thy sands no moreC
I fly to seek my Lover or my GraveD
