Sonnet Xxv: Can'st Thou Forget Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAACCADEDEDE

Can'st thou forget O Idol of my SoulA
Thy Sappho's voice her form her dulcet LyreB
That melting ev'ry thought to fond desireC
Bade sweet delerium o'er thy senses rollA
Can'st thou so soon renounce the blest controlA
That calm'd with pity's tears love's raging fireC
While Hope slow breathing on the trembling wireC
In every note with soft persuasion stoleA
Oh Sov'reign of my heart return returnD
For me no spring appears no summers bloomE
No Sun beams glitter and no altars burnD
The mind's dark winter of eternal gloomE
Shews 'midst the waste a solitary urnD
A blighted laurel and a mould'ring tombE
