Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPDQRS DTDUVGVWXYZA2

Ye powers unseen to whom the bards of GreeceA
Erected altars ye who to the mindB
More lofty views unfold and prompt the heartC
With more divine emotions if erewhileD
Not quite unpleasing have my votive ritesE
Of you been deem'd when oft this lonely seatF
To you I consecrated then vouchsafeG
Here with your instant energy to crownH
My happy solitude It is the hourI
When most I love to invoke you and have feltJ
Most frequent your glad ministry divineK
The air is calm the sun's unveiled orbL
Shines in the middle heaven the harvest roundM
Stands quiet and among the golden sheavesN
The reapers lie reclin'd the neighbouring grovesO
Are mute nor even a linnet's random strainP
Echoeth amid the silence Let me feelD
Your influence ye kind powers Aloft in heavenQ
Abide ye or on those transparent cloudsR
Pass ye from hill to hill or on the shadesS
Which yonder elms cast o'er the lake belowD
Do you converse retir'd From what lov'd hauntT
Shall I expect you Let me once more feelD
Your influence o ye kind inspiring powersU
And I will guard it well nor shall a thoughtV
Rise in my mind nor shall a passion moveG
Across my bosom unobserv'd unstor'dV
By faithful memory and then at someW
More active moment will I call them forthX
Anew and join them in majestic formsY
And give them utterance in harmonious strainsZ
That all mankind shall wonder at your swayA2
