The Sun Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEE FCGHIA JKLLMN

They said the sun will riseA
It s morning but still darkB
Let s wait for the afternoon to comeC
Afternoon is fading as eveningD
The neighborhood is full of lightE
the sun is shining brightE
-
Bright enough to burn the DarknessF
Indeed it is a scent of freedomC
Let s approach our neighborsG
With curiosity to know the sunH
The sun that lights up their waysI
Cleanse their brains and purifies their eyesA
-
Let s not be afraid to learnJ
And borrow their lampsK
our today maybe free from yesterdayL
And our night brighter than a dayL
For our blood that watered the landM
Should not be in veinN
