The Sun

They said the sun will rise,
It’s morning but still dark
Let’s wait for the afternoon to come
Afternoon is fading as evening.
The neighborhood is full of light
the sun is shining bright

Bright enough to burn the Darkness
Indeed it is a scent of freedom
Let’s approach our neighbors;
With curiosity to know the sun
The sun that lights up their ways
Cleanse their brains and purifies their eyes.

Let’s not be afraid to learn
And borrow their lamps
our today maybe free from yesterday
And our night brighter than a day
For our blood that watered the land
Should not be in vein
