I am packing to go to the airportA
but somehow I am never packedB
I keep remembering more thingsC
I keep forgettingD
-
Secretly the clock is boltingD
forward ten minutes at a clickE
instead of one Each timeF
I look away it jumpsG
-
Now I remember I have to findH
the cats I have four catsI
even when I am asleepJ
One is on the bed and I slipK
-
her into the suitcaseL
One is under the sofa IM
drag him out But the tabbyN
in the suitcase has vanishedO
-
Now my tickets have run awayP
Maybe the cat has my ticketsQ
I can only find one catR
My purse has gone into hidingD
-
Now it is time to get packedB
I take the suitcase downS
There is a cat in it but no clothesT
My tickets are floating in the bathU
-
tub full of water I dry themV
One cat is in my purseW
but my wallet has dissolvedX
The tickets are still drippingD
-
I look at the clock as it leapsY
forward and see I have missedZ
my plane My bed is gone nowA2
There is one cat the size of a sofaB2
