| And into the Bay of Bengal I submerge | A |

| Enjoying my childhood I flow through mountainous beauty | B |
| And in the course of time I am reminded of my duty | B |
| - | |
| Now to serve the farmers I directed myself towards plains | C |
| Unfortunately to narrate my further story it pains | C |
| - | |
| Flowing gladly through villages and rural beauties | D |
| Unwillingly I approached the densly urbanized cities | D |
| - | |
| However tired and scared I tiptoed into the City | B |
| And now my pity days commenced | E |
| As I started losing my purity | B |

| It is an irony that they consider me their holy river | F |
| And contaminate me blindly until I tremble with fever | F |
| - | |
| I have lost my chastity and my glories being lost | G |
| Often I curse myself for flowing through the cities of ghosts | H |
| - | |
| Before bidding goodbye I request them | I |
| To stop polluting me in the God's name | J |
| - | |
| Otherwise it may harm them at a great deal | K |
| This is nothing but a short appeal | K |
