My Lost Glory Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AA BB CC DD BEB FF GH IJ KK

From a part of Gangotri glacier I emergeA
And into the Bay of Bengal I submergeA
-
Enjoying my childhood I flow through mountainous beautyB
And in the course of time I am reminded of my dutyB
-
Now to serve the farmers I directed myself towards plainsC
Unfortunately to narrate my further story it painsC
-
Flowing gladly through villages and rural beautiesD
Unwillingly I approached the densly urbanized citiesD
-
However tired and scared I tiptoed into the CityB
And now my pity days commencedE
As I started losing my purityB
-
It is an irony that they consider me their holy riverF
And contaminate me blindly until I tremble with feverF
-
I have lost my chastity and my glories being lostG
Often I curse myself for flowing through the cities of ghostsH
-
Before bidding goodbye I request themI
To stop polluting me in the God's nameJ
-
Otherwise it may harm them at a great dealK
This is nothing but a short appealK
