The Soldier Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DCDC

Lived life more comfortably in demiseA
Providence could not have chosen me more worthy than thatB
With anguish smiling and chest big in sizeA
Owe to my motherland my lifeC
-
No dust and clay as sacred as mineD
Kept me resolute and firm in every struggle and strifeC
A chance to shed my blood for this pious land will make my abode in paradise ever fineD
Elated that I exit life with joy and pride rifeC
