I hear sounds
Inviting sounds
Beats at a rhythmic tempo
I hear voices
Distant voices
Sweet melodious ones
I'm curious,its so lively
My heart is joyous
My feets are moving
And I can feel my body swaying to each beat
I have to know where it's from
They are different from me
They look so happy
Free from worries
Their clothings look native
They are bare foot yet colourful
They look like they were engraved from nature itself
Their women's smiles were mesmerizing
The men's stance looked possessive
They are strong in themselves
And happy by themselves
I've heard of this before
It sounds so familiar
Now I know...
They are the ones we heard of
THE AFRICANS.
