| Seraphs of heaven brought it most pure | C |
| For us to give relief in every strain | D |

| Thou art a blessing for us on the earth | E |
| Whenever death cometh to take the control | F |
| Or when one screams and cries during the birth | E |
| Comest to save us thou and mend the soul | F |
