Hermes The Messenger Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFGGHIJK

Oh Hermes with your caduceus headA
Tell me where you go with the deadA
Aren't you the brazen of Olympus fameB
And the psychopomp is your nameB
Where did your winged sandals goC
I bet your turms with mercury flowC
To Colossus of Rhodes or other landD
But all are wreck in history's handD
And all Zues gods are out of boneE
An art engraved only on stoneE
Brother of brother destroyed anotherF
Even in stories failed standing togetherF
Ancient mysteries truly remind usG
What we are leaving behind usG
So many knowledge for the eyesH
Better than a golden rolling diceI
Myths remain to be told againJ
Beholding life's solemn mainK
