Rhyme Scheme: A B A B A B A A A A A A A A A C B

I lay in my bed thinkingA
-
Would'a should'a could'aB
-
Don't know why I'm missingA
-
Missing what I never could'aB
-
Oh we wanna be kissingA
-
But we never should'aB
-
We are just fishingA
-
But this sea is waningA
-
Like the moon it's leavingA
-
So I sit in this boat flippingA
-
Cause it's no longer swingingA
-
From side to side I'm clingingA
-
Clinging to the moat surroundingA
-
'Tis safety that has me clawingA
-
Clinging to the moat while despairingA
-
I would'a I could'a but shouldn'tC
-
Yet I know that I really would'aB
