Kissing

I lay in my bed thinking:

Would'a, should'a, could'a!

Don't know why I'm missing;

Missing what I never could'a!

Oh, we wanna be kissing;

But we never should'a!

We are just fishing.

But this sea is waning;

Like the moon it's leaving.

So I sit in this boat flipping,

Cause it's no longer swinging...

From side to side I'm clinging;

Clinging to the moat, surrounding.

'Tis safety that has me clawing;

Clinging to the moat while despairing.

I would'a, I could'a, but shouldn't!

Yet I know that I really would'a!
