Sanctuary Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEE FFGHIIJJKL

HIGH above hate I dwellA
O storms farewellA
Though at my sill your daggered thunders playB
Lawless and loud to morrow as to dayB
To me they sound more smallC
Than a young fay s footfallC
Soft and far sunken forty fathoms lowD
In Long AgoD
And winnowed into silence on that windE
Which takes wars like a dust and leaves but love behindE
-
Higher FelicityF
Doth climb to meF
And bank me in with turf and marjoramG
Such as bees lip or the new wean d lambH
With golden barberry wreathI
And bluets thick beneathI
One grosbeak too mid apple buds a guestJ
With bud red breastJ
Is singing singing All the hells that rageK
Float less than April fog below our hermitageL
