Is it winter again is it cold againA
didn't Frank just slip on the iceB
didn't he heal weren't the spring seeds plantedC
-
didn't the night endD
didn't the melting iceB
flood the narrow guttersE
-
wasn't my bodyF
rescued wasn't it safeG
-
didn't the scar form invisibleH
above the injuryF
-
terror and coldI
didn't they just end wasn't the back gardenJ
harrowed and plantedC
-
I remember how the earth felt red and denseK
in stiff rows weren't the seeds plantedC
didn't vines climb the south wallL
-
I can't hear your voiceM
for the wind's cries whistling over the bare groundN
-
I no longer careO
what sound it makesP
-
when was I silenced when did it first seemQ
pointless to describe that soundN
-
what it sounds like can't change what it isR
-
didn't the night end wasn't the earthS
safe when it was plantedC
-
didn't we plant the seedsT
weren't we necessary to the earthS
-
the vines were they harvestedC
