Matins Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDECBFGHBIJKLM

You want to know how I spend my timeA
I walk the front lawn pretendingB
to be weeding You ought to knowC
I'm never weeding on my knees pullingB
clumps of clover from the flower beds in factD
I'm looking for courage for some evidenceE
my life will change thoughC
it takes forever checkingB
each clump for the symbolicF
leaf and soon the summer is ending alreadyG
the leaves turning always the sick treesH
going first the dying turningB
brilliant yellow while a few dark birds performI
their curfew of music You want to see my handsJ
As empty now as at the first noteK
Or was the point alwaysL
to continue without a signM
