Labor Day Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDEFGHEG

Requiring something lovely on his armA
Took me to Stamford Connecticut a quasi farmA
His family's later picking up the mammothB
Girlfriend of Charlie meanwhile trying to pawn me offC
On some third guy also up for the weekendD
But Saturday we still were paired spentE
It sprawled across that sprawling acreageF
Until the grass grew limpG
with damp Like me Johnston baby I can still seeH
The pelted clover burrs' prickle fur and gorgedE
Pastures spewing infinite tiny bells You pimpG
