My Kingdom Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHIHJKLK MNONPQRQ STUTVWGW

A little kingdom I possessA
where thoughts and feelings dwellB
And very hard I find the taskC
of governing it wellB
For passion tempts and troubles meD
A wayward will misleadsE
And selfishness its shadow castsF
On all my words and deedsE
-
How can I learn to rule myselfG
to be the child I shouldH
Honest and brave nor ever tireI
Of trying to be goodH
How can I keep a sunny soulJ
To shine along life's wayK
How can I tune my little heartL
To sweetly sing all dayK
-
Dear Father help me with the loveM
that casteth out my fearN
Teach me to lean on thee and feelO
That thou art very nearN
That no temptation is unseenP
No childish grief too smallQ
Since thou with patience infiniteR
Doth soothe and comfort allQ
-
I do not ask for any crownS
But that which all may winT
Nor seek to conquer any worldU
Except the one withinT
Be thou my guide until I findV
Led by a tender handW
Thy happy kingdom in myselfG
And dare to take commandW
