To L - Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBB CDECED

Thou that wast once my loved and loving friendA
A friend no more I had forgot thee quiteB
Why hast thou come to trouble my delightB
With memories Oh I had clean made endA
Of all that time I had made haste to sendA
My soul into red places and to lightB
A torch of pleasure to burn up my nightB
What I have woven hast thou come to rendB
-
In silent acres of forgetful flowersC
Crowned as of old with happy daffodilsD
Long time my wounded soul has been a strayingE
Alas it has chanced now on sombre hoursC
Of hard remembrances and sad delayingE
Leaving green valleys for the bitter hillsD
