The Green River Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACAACAA

I know a green grass path that leaves the fieldA
And like a running river winds alongB
Into a leafy wood where is no throngB
Of birds at noon day and no soft throats yieldA
Their music to the moon The place is sealedA
An unclaimed sovereignty of voiceless songB
And all the unravished silences belongB
To some sweet singer lost or unrevealedA
So is my soul become a silent placeC
Oh may I wake from this uneasy nightA
To find a voice of music manifoldA
Let it be shape of sorrow with wan faceC
Or Love that swoons on sleep or else delightA
That is as wide eyed as a marigoldA
