An Eagle-eyeing Lioness Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAB CDEF AGGHDI AJAK L

An eagle eying lionessA
Comfortably cushioned even in wildernessA
Though surmounted in prickly crownsA
She bleeds tears of integrity and morality stillB
-
Though great heats may indurate clayC
But never Mother wit's heartD
For hers is the purestE
In the world filled with hypocrisy she is under arrestF
-
She pays her bail on her kneesA
Where she speaks life and gates openG
Her faith remains unshakenG
Rise you prayer warriorH
For that is a great place to startD
This is only the beginningI
-
An eagle eying lioness climbing towards wintry mountain ridgesA
In her frozen state she cries not for herself but her cubs not to freeze on her behalfJ
She saysA
Hush now winter has come keep warmK
