Snow Dance For The Dead Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Dance little children it is holy twilightA
Have you hung paper flowers about the necks of the ikonsB
Dance soft but very gaily on tip toes like the snowC
-
Spread your little pinaforesB
And courtesy as the snow doesB
The snow that bends this way and thatD
In silent salutationC
Do not wait to warm your hands about the firesB
Do not mind the rough licking of the windE
Dance forth into the shaggy night that shakes itself upon youF
-
Dance beneath the Kremlin towers goldenC
In the royalG
Purple of the skyH
But not there where the light is strongestI
Bright hair is dazzling in the lightA
Dance in the dim violet placesB
Where the snow throws out a faint lustreJ
Like the lustre of dead facesB
Snow downier than wild geese feathersB
Enough filling for five hundred pillowsB
By the long deep trench of the deadK
-
Bend little childrenC
To the rhythm of the snowC
That undulates this way and thatD
In silver spiralsB
Cup your hands like tiny chalicesB
Let the flakes fill up the rosyB
Hollows of your palmsB
And alight upon your hairL
Like kisses that cling softlyB
A moment and let goC
Like many kisses falling altogetherJ
Quick cool kissesB
