Dispossessed Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDED FFG HGIJ KL FGM NK

Tender and tremulous green of leavesA
Turned up by the windB
Twanging among the vinesC
Wind in the grassD
Blowing a clear pathE
For the new stripped soul to passD
-
The naked soul in the sunlightF
Like a wisp of smoke in the sunlightF
On the hill side shimmeringG
-
Dance light on the wind little soulH
Like a thistle down floatingG
Over the butterfliesI
And the lumbering beesJ
-
Come away from that treeK
And its shadow grey as a stoneL
-
Bathe in the pools of lightF
On the hillside shimmeringG
Shining and wetted and warm in the sun spray falling like golden rainM
-
But do not linger and lookN
At that bleak thing under the treeK
