LightA
Innumerable ions of lightA
Kindling irradiatingB
All to their foci tendingB
-
Light that jingles like anklet chainsC
On bevies of little lithe twinkling feetD
Or clingles in myriad vibrationsE
Like trillions of porcelainF
Vases shatteringB
-
Light over the laminae of roofsG
Diffusing in shimmering nebulaeH
About the night's boundariesI
Or billowing in pearly foamJ
Submerging the low lying starsK
-
Light for the feast prolongedL
Captive light in the goblets quiveringB
Sparks evanescentM
Struck of meeting looksN
Fringed eyelids leashingB
Sheathed and leaping lightsO
Infinite bubbles of lightA
Bursting reformingB
Silvery filings of lightA
Incessantly fallingB
Scintillant sided dust of lightA
Out of the white flares of BroadwayP
Like a great spurious diamondQ
In the night's corsage facetedR
-
BroadwayP
In ambuscades of lightA
Drawing the charmed multitudesS
With the slow suction of her breathT
Dangling her naked soulH
Behind the blinding gold of eunuch lightsO
That wind about her like a bodyguardU
-
Or like a huge serpent iridescent scaledV
Trailing her coruscating lengthW
Over the night prostrateX
Triumphant poisedY
Her hydra heads above the avenuesZ
Values appraisingB
And her avid eyesA2
Glistening with eternal watchfulnessA2
-
BroadwayP
Out of her towers rampantM
Like an unsubtle courtezanF
Reserving nought for some adventurous nightA
