It is so strange for you are not what I thought you to beA
I look into your eyes and what am I to seeA
For the person you once were is not who you are todayB
The love we once hadC
It is not here to stayB
For I realize who you areD
And I am the sameE
I love you you areD
It drives me insaneF
The pictures I had stored in my mind were a simple in correctionG
Yet you still remain me in my brainF
You plague me like infectionG
I know that this can not be for two different people is what we areD
But I will want you with meA
I hope your wanders don't take you farD
Why I feel this pain this sweet madness and infectionG
I do not know whyH
It leaves me without directionG
For in the morning I will wake and you will tooI
I will remain in these helpless thoughtsJ
I will still not know what's trueI
For the person I had pictured you is just not what you areD
The galaxies I had for us to walk acrossK
Turned out to be a fallen starD
For love is not what we thoughtL
It seems to be a gameE
It is one best left unplayedL
It will drive you insaneF
I don't know how I feel or why I feel it for that matterM
I would tell you these thingsN
But your arrogance I wish not to flatterM
So I watch you from a far and think what could have beenO
I think of all my mistakesP
I think of all my sinsQ
And maybe it is these slight imperfections that kept us far apartL
Maybe it is these very thingsN
That doomed us from the startL
I knew we would be brokenG
I knew these wordsR
Would be best left unspokenG
You dance to a drum that has no rightful rhythmS
I dance to waves of the oceanG
As I crumble within themT
I don't what to toy with any piece of you for I fear there's not much leftL
I don't want to take your heartL
For love is not theftL
Why these feelings are here I have no replyH
If you ask me any questionsU
I have no reasons whyH
This is how I feel my secret innermost thoughtsJ
These are my duties and passionsU
For which I have willingly foughtL
So run away if you will for I would run tooL
But never for one secondL
Question that these words are trueL
Because I love you and it was not a choice for me to makeV
I laid myself downW
Even though I saw everything was at stakeV
Call me a martyr for love if you willX
For you racked up my pain like finesY
And I paid all the billsZ
