What We Want Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNGOPBPQ

What we wantA
is never simpleB
We move among the thingsC
we thought we wantedD
a face a room an open bookE
and these things bear our namesF
now they want usG
But what we want appearsH
in dreams wearing disguisesI
We fall pastJ
holding out our armsK
and in the morningL
our arms acheM
We don't remember the dreamN
but the dream remembers usG
It is there all dayO
as an animal is thereP
under the tableB
as the stars are thereP
even in full sunQ
