Tz'u No. 18 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A ABBCD EFGAH

To the tune of quot Intoxicated in the Shadow of Flowers quotA
-
Thin mist dense clouds a grief stricken dayA
auspicious incense burns in the gold animalB
Once again it is the joyous mid autumn festivalB
but a midnight chillC
touches my jade pillow and silk bed screenD
-
I drink wine by the eastern fence in the yellow duskE
Now a dark fragrance fillsF
my sleeves and makes me spinG
The bamboo blinds sway in the west windA
And I am even thinner than a yellow flowerH
