Tz'u No. 13 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCDEF GHIJ KLM

To the tune of Song of PeaceA
-
Year by year in the snowB
I have often gathered plum flowersC
intoxicated with their beautyD
Fondling them impudentlyE
I got my robe wet with their lucid tearsF
-
This year I have drifted to the cornerG
of the sea and the edgeH
of the horizonI
My temples have turned greyJ
-
Judging by the gust of the evening windK
It is unlikely I will againL
enjoy the plum blossomsM
