Sorrow Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BBCDEEDC FGHHIJIKL MNOPQNMRSTTUVWXVY

To the melody of Sheng Sheng ManA
-
I pine and peakB
And questless seekB
Groping and moping to linger and languishC
Anon to wander and wonder glare stare and startD
Flesh chill'dE
Ghost thrilledE
With grim dartD
And keen canker of rankling anguishC
-
Sudden a gleamF
Of fair weather feltG
But fled as fast and the ice cold season staysH
How hard to have these daysH
In rest or respite peace or truceI
Sip upon sip of tasteless wineJ
Is of slight useI
To counter or quellK
The fierce lash of the evening blastL
-
The wild geese seeM
Fly overheadN
Ah there's the griefO
That's chief grief beyond bearingP
Wild fowl far faringQ
In days of old you spedN
Bearing my true love's tender thoughts to meM
Lo how my lawn is rife with golden bloomsR
Of bunched chrysanthemumsS
Weary their heads they bowT
Who cares to pluck them nowT
While I the casement keepU
Lone waiting waiting for nightV
And as the shades fallW
Upon broad leaves sparse rain drops dripX
Ah such a plightV
Of grief grief unbearable unthinkableY
