The Speech Of Flattery Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDCECFCF

See how he lies still mighty in his easeA
The fields' huge fear the terrifying saintB
And nothing needed but his straightened kneesA
A polished helm perhaps a little paintB
His breast is broad as when behind the shieldC
He thrust its front across the clanging lineD
And stood with Gore as trembling armies kneeledC
To lay their carven trophies at his shrineD
And now the very gates would yield at sightC
The earth cry 'Welcome' and the maidens singE
'The day has come at last lat last the lightC
Sick Peace is slain and slaying War is king 'F
Oh even yet will Beauty yield to MightC
And deck his couch while Numa's temples ring 'F
