The Influence Of Lust Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCADEFGFHIHIDD

With padded feet from out his own dark denA
Comes smiling Lust once fair and hard toB
pleaseC
But now long overworked with dabbling menA
Who cry 'We've tasted this and tired of these 'D
Pausing in doubt suspecting some defenceE
He stares with eyes blue lidded at the ShapeF
Then stooping whispers low of innocenceG
Of waiting chastity and sweetest rapeF
With hairless hands awave lisps reeking talesH
'Mid smothered sighs acquivering the whileI
he sees a horrored frown and fears he failsH
But smiling much whene'er he sees a smileI
Then pressing 'Flesh is this they needed food 'D
And 'Flesh is warmest in its stolen blood 'D
