The Epileptic Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCDEDEBFBF

His splendid heart is set within a frameA
Of manly massiveness and giant limbsB
And strong to move he helps the maimed and the lameA
While his pride of strength the laugher brimsB
His eyes and spreads He heaves his might chestC
In mirth at every feeble joke and jestC
But sometimes in the height of joy he ll startD
Pale cheeked as though within his ear he heardE
Some shocking whisper calling at this heartD
And knew the call and trembled at its wordE
And so he passes into horridnessB
Within the claw of some hot fiend of preyF
And fights with blinded hands and pitilessB
Till back again he lisps his dreary wayF
