| Than life itself which in the passing hence | E |
| Enriched the world with an awakened breath | D |
| And fled no longer nameless form the sense | E |
| Twas not the shed of blood but fearless mirth | F |
| that set a wondrous pattern to the earth | F |
| And these within a corner that is theirs | G |
| Are laid in smiling peace a rich content | H |
| The pain has been the glory is Old cares | G |
| Have dropped and left no drooping wonder | I |
