The Christmas Beetle Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAAAAAAAABBAA

When Christmas comes the Christmas heat'llA
bring once more the Christmas BeetleA
The first inflammatory breeze'llA
set him buzzing like a dieselA
Hear him open up his throttleA
as he hums above the wattleA
Hear him zoom and snarl and rattleA
Like a fighter plane in battleA
Watch him dive to sink and settleA
Folding up his wings of metalA
Cutting off the engines soundB
as quietly as he comes to groundB
Then watch some sparrows frail and lowlyA
Strike him swiftly rend him whollyA
