A Book Of Wordsworth Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGG

Thy talks on God and glories of His fieldsA
Are woven into my unworthy pastB
The fragments of thy thoughts my memory yieldsA
Grow dim at times and yet they seem to lastB
This little book of verses covered redC
A gift to me a gift of quiet restD
Is filled with soothing words that thou hast saidC
Some chosen thoughts the wisest and the bestD
Sweet songs and gleanings from that inward eyeE
The noise of bees the wind in daffodilsF
The splendour of the sea and of the skyE
And Nature standing on the silent hillsF
They words thy thoughts for me can never ceaseG
To have that flavour of eternal peaceG
