Saving Grace Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EEFF GGHH EEII

Grace oh grace a mystery unknownA
Its power and might like seeds unsownA
Where love beyond imaginingB
Becomes our everlasting springB
-
Grace a paradox so profoundC
A mystery in which we're boundC
It meets us in our deepest needD
And bids us come and freely feedD
-
Oh how wondrous is this graceE
That finds us in our lowest placeE
And lifts us up to dwell on highF
With our Savior ever nighF
-
For in His blood His life His deathG
Our mess is cleaned our very breathG
Is given purpose hope and lightH
And in His love we find our sightH
-
So let us marvel at this graceE
And in its wonder take our placeE
As sons and daughters heirs of lifeI
Forever in His love our strifeI

Poet's note: Just appreciating the saving hand of grace stretched to an undeserving me through so great a sacrifice by so loving a Saviour.
