Life’s Stage Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCE FGHG II

In life s great stage we step and play our partA
With utmost care and ardent dedicationB
Intricacies of drama we impartA
Each word and gesture deemed a revelationB
-
Yet as we tread the boards and give our allC
We must recall the truth that lies beneathD
For characters do naught but rise and fallC
While actors true embody life and deathE
-
Let us not be consumed by our designF
For shadows cast cannot withstand the lightG
A greater purpose moves us ever onH
A quest for wisdom truth and pure insightG
-
So take the stage with passion and with graceI
But know thyself and keep an open spaceI
