Days, Nights, the difference was the light and darkness
The feeling of emptiness knew no time
My dreams were like the shadows of my long days
All that surrounded me was solitude, seclusion, wary
The feeling of friendship was trivial

I had nothing to wake up to
No friends to look forward to meeting
No work to run to
No sky to stare at
Cause there was nothing, no one.

I was a drop of water in the desert
A fish on dry land, a star in day light
The sun in the night sky
A silver pin in a hay stack
I was a nobody, I didn't exist. I was all alone.
But atleast I had one thing, a heart.
