With The Face Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEAAF GHBAAIJKLM CCNOPQRQ

With the face goes a mirrorA
As with the mind a worldB
Likeness tells the doubting eyeC
That strangeness is not strangeD
At an early hour and knowledgeE
Identity not yet familiarA
Looks back upon itself from laterA
And seems itselfF
-
To day seems nowG
With reality to be goes timeH
With the mind goes a worldB
Wit the heart goes a weatherA
With the face goes a mirrorA
As with the body a fearI
Young self goes staring to the wallJ
Where dumb futurity speaks calmK
And between then and thenL
Forebeing grows of ageM
-
The mirror mixes with the eyeC
Soon will it be the very eyeC
Soon will the eye that wasN
The very mirror beO
Death the final image will shineP
Transparently not otherwiseQ
Than as the dark sun describedR
With such faint brightnessesQ
