The little quids the million quids	A
The everywhere everything always quids	A
The atoms of the Monoton	B
Each turned three essences where it stood	C
And ground a gisty dust from its neighbors' edges	A
Until a powdery thoughtfall stormed in and out	D
The cerebration of a slippery quid enterprise	A
Each quid stirred	E
The united quids	A
Waved through a sinuous decision	B

The quids that had never done anything before	F
But be be be be be	G
The quids resolved to predicate	H
And dissipate in a little grammar	I
Oh the Monoton didn't care	J
For whatever they did	K
The Monoton's contributing quids	A
The Monoton would always remain the same	L

A quid here and there gyrated in place position	B
While many essential quids turned inside out	D
For the fun of it	M
And a few refused to be anything but	N
Simple unpredicated copulatives	A
Little by little this commotion of quids	A
By threes by tens by casual millions	A
Squirming within the state of things	A
The metaphysical acrobats	A
The naked immaterial quids	A
Turned inside on themselves	A
And came out dressed	O
Each similar quid of the inward same	L
Each similar quid dressed in a different way	P
The quid's idea of a holiday	P
	-
The quids could never tell what was happening	Q
But the Monoton felt itself differently the same	L
In its different parts	A
The silly quids upon their rambling exercise	A
Never knew could never tell	R
What their pleasure was about	D
What their carnival was like	S
Being in being in being always in	B
Where they never could get out	D
Of the everywhere everything always in	B
To derive themselves from the Monoton	B

But I know with a quid inside of me	G
But I know what a quid's disguise is like	S
Being one myself	T
The gymnastic device	A
That a quid puts on for exercise	A
	-
And so should the trees	A
And so should the worms	A
And so should you	U
And all the other predicates	A
And all the other accessories	A
Of the quid's masquerade	V
