Full Orchestra Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDDCEFFEFE

MY words are the poor footmen of your prideA
Of what you cry you trumpets each to eachB
With mouths of air my speech is the dog speechB
Of yours the Roman tongue but mine is tiedA
By harsher bridles dumb with breath and boneC
Vainly it mocks the dingo strings the stopsD
The pear tree flying in the flute with dropsD
Of music quenched and scattered by your ownC
So serving men who run all night with wineE
And whet their ears and crouch upon the floorF
Sigh broken words no man has heard beforeF
Or since but ravished in the candleshineE
Between the push and shutting of a doorF
From the great table where their masters dineE
